Data Analytics Intern

Job Description:

• Assist in analyzing the business, documenting the organizational processes, and evaluating the business models
• Research best practices and support developing solutions and recommendations using business analysis to answer industry and business questions
• Perform business analysis using various techniques, e.g., statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and data mining from internal and external sources to answer the industry and business questions
• Help in producing written and oral documentation/presentation to support the data analysis and report on findings to present to the higher management, if necessary
• Other tasks that may be assigned

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks
• Ability to code, specifically with either Python or SQL is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Excel including pivot tables, lockups, macros and knowledge of MS Office, MS Access, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint
• Excellent command of the English Language is a must, both written and verbal
